Catherine Wells, BS, began her healthcare career as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). She then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Psychology, focusing on behavior modification and healing the body with nutrition. She has been a Certified Wellness Consultant and Workplace Wellness Consultant providing Health Coaching and Health Risk Assessments to her clients.
Catherine believes that maintaining a healthy weight reduces the risks for most common chronic diseases including high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, and metabolic imbalances.
As a fitness and nutrition adviser, Catherine focuses not only on physical activity and nutrition, but all facets of personal well-being that can bring people back to “Peak Health.” She does this by holistically addressing the following pillars of weight loss: whole food nutrition (healing from the inside out), one-on-one consulting (accountability and reassurance), exercise personalized fitness programs for all levels), relaxation and sleep (imperative for healing the body), proper supplementation (provides balance) and mindful eating (enjoying our food and paying attention to the thoughts, feelings and sensations around it).
In her spare time, Catherine enjoys exploring the plentiful hiking trails in Eugene with her border collie.
